Who is this for?
This is an opportunity for low-income queer and trans folks and Black & Indigenous People of Color to receive massage therapy that they could not otherwise access.
Massage therapy offers many health benefits and can help with:
Stress and mood
Back pain and stiffness
If you self-identify as queer, trans, or BIPOC, and you could use a massage, you're welcome to book. No questions asked.
How much does it cost?
These appointments are offered on a Sliding Scale, up to 60% off our standard rate.
$50 - 125 / 60 min
$75 - 175 / 90 min
If you can only afford the minimum, great, please come get a massage! We want to support your wellness.
If you are able to pay more than the deposit, you support us in providing this program for longer.
Who is my massage therapist?
These massages are provided by our intern Hana Shiozaki (they/them), who is completing advanced training in MyoFascial release and Cupping Therapy at Sage Bodywork.
They’re passionate about providing care for queer and BIPOC people. They began practicing massage in California in 2019, and have recently applied for their Washington state massage license.
Hana is a very intuitive massage therapist. They found all of my "problem spots" quickly.
How can I book?
These appointments are first come first served. Payment is required to hold an appointment time for you.
At this time, each person may book up to two appointments.
Before your appointment, you will be emailed a comprehensive intake form to fill out online at home.
Your reminder email will include instructions for reserved parking at our Eastlake office.
After your massage, instead of tipping, please support our intern's growth by filling out a feedback form.
